New Chastity devices…

I have spoken before about the difficulties of finding a good chastity device that actually fits well. It has been something I have struggled with for a long time. Different designs I have used have all been in some way too uncomfortable for long term wear and/or to large to be inconspicuous. For example, creating a situation where it is impossible to cross dress effectively because you literally have to manspread to accommodate the  device when you normally don’t need to do that. Hardly good if you are trying to adopt an appropriately demure and submissive posture.

Mistress Sakura even noted my comments and asked me for measurements and sent me a lovely present a while back – a properly fitted CB6000. And I love my CB6000 with its purple colour and much better fit. However, it still has the problem that wearing it under clothes is like walking around with a permanent erection.

So, I was still looking for something better for long term wear, especially under clothing that is supposed to be more feminine.

So, I started looking at the tiny nub devices. The ones that are just a little dome rather than a whole phallic length. These sound more uncomfortable. After all, you are literally cramming the whole length of your penis into a much smaller space than it should fit, and they are the subject of many SPH kink memes about chastity devices making your cock shrink.

But, actually, once on they are remarkably comfortable and, more importantly, less protruding. I started with a metal one because those were the only ones I could find when I went looking originally. These were good to wear, comfortable most of the time, but the rigidity of them can be a problem.

Then I found, on Amazon of all places, an ideal cage for me. It was a 3D printed, pink plastic one shaped like a… well, you can see for yourself…

When I put this on, I was expecting discomfort. But once it was locked on properly I found it to be the most comfortable chastity device I have ever worn. About the only issue with it is that, if the hole in the device is not lined up with your peehole right, it can cause a mess when you go to the toilet. But this seems to be an issue with all of this style of cage. The full length ones have multiple holes and are easier to clean. But it is a minor issue that is easily fixed.

Overall, I am surprisingly happy with this device. It seems to fulfill most of the requirements I have for a chastity device for longer term wear.

I think the point of this post is to say to all the chastity lovers out there, who may not yet have found your forever cage, that it sometimes takes a lot of searching to find the perfect one. Collaborate with your Mistress, make sure you get the right measurements and try them out for a time before you settle on one.

Back in the collar

It’s been a long while since I posted here. And one of my more recent posts was basically about how I hadn’t posted for a while. Partly this was because, as stated in the previous ‘I haven’t posted in a while’ post, work and real life got in the way. That is still happening, unfortunately. Real life must always come first and lowly slaves don’t get to come often, if at all. However, things are more stable in real life now, so its looking like I have more time to devote to blogging.

The other reason for letting this blog slide has been because lockdown. You all remember that? The endless March we had where we were all trapped in our houses in order to try to avoid getting infected with COVID? It wasn’t really conducive to a kinky lifestyle so I had very little to blog about.

Recently, however, I have got back in touch with Mistress Sakura and she has reminded me that, when she gave me her collar, it was intended as a lifelong commitment. I am her collared property. This commitment includes the requirement to blog. So, here I am.

So, for those who might be new to the blog, here is my introduction with some additions to take into account the past few years.

I am Rose Satin, a lifestyle submissive. As Rose, I am a cross dresser. Or at least someone who tries really hard to cross dress under the guidance of my Mistress because, despite her help, I am still woefully bad at make up. Possibly because of dyspraxia but also because I am just terrible at anything that requires a steady hand. I’d appreciate any make up tips, especially from those who are also dyspraxic and have figured out how to overcome it. I am also a writer in both my kink and vanilla lives. I’ve written a lot of other blog posts in other places about kink and BDSM that you may or may not have read and may not have been aware I wrote because I did not use this name. I have also published a novella (Three Times the Pain) and a short story (SuperDomme, part of the Out of this World Alphas anthology) under the name Rose Satin.

I have been the lifestyle submissive to Mistress Sakura Strike since she first started as a professional Domme and was formally collared by her a number of years ago. She is more than my Mistress, she has also been a mentor and a very good friend over the years. I do what I can to help and support her career as she has done to support mine.

At present I am excited about the future. The end of lockdown has meant a return to some activities previously not available and that includes a lot of BDSM. Watch this space for more activity in the future…

Nerdy Kink

I’ve recently started reading Sunstone by Stjepan Sejic (@stjepansejic on Twitter) because Mistress recommended it (it’s good, you should read it) and there is a line in that which really caught my eye.

The idea of us kinky people being ‘nerds of sex’ appeals to me. It definitely fits with how I see myself in the context of kink. I’ve always been a nerd, since like before I even knew what the word meant, and so it makes sense that when it comes to sex I am a nerd about that too.

Hell, my first sexual fantasies were about being Princess Leia and being tied up…

Ummm, you know maybe that was some form of clue as to what I enjoy…

Obviously, the extract above is talking about the whole idea of BDSM enthusiasts being super keen, incredibly clever people who go out of their way to complicate sex in order to make it more fun Adding rules, making it a game, working out complicated predicaments, playing roles and so on. Working with elaborate rope ties, pulleys, computer-aided electronic devices, and all sorts of clever stuff to make sure everyone has more fun. I’ve read through some of the groups on Fetlife such as the Predicament Bondage and Electrical Play ones and I am impressed by the amount of knowledge and experience that comes to play in those groups. People applying their knowledge of pretty much anything to kink in order to make amazing things happen. Sheer ingenuity. I have talked about such things before – including the use of apps and more complicated devices.

However, it is also worth pointing out that there is a lot of crossover between nerds and Kink. Almost like the same sort of minds get attracted to both scenes. The Kinky and Geeky group on Fetlife is huge. People come into kink from geek for a number of reasons. Cosplayers love the dressing up, roleplayers love the roleplay, scientists and engineers love the challenges of making something work practically and so on.

I guess it is good to know that many of us have similar interests beyond what we do in the dungeons…

I know I enjoy the discussions I have had with Mistress about comics, films, and books.

A final thing about this is a change in perception. The above comic extract is indicative of a late GenX/Millenial and later view of BDSM and Kink. I recall an older perception of the scene as being seedier and less respectable. Watch films like Personal Services to see what that image was like (assuming you can handle the idea of the actor who played Molly Weasley as a Dominatrix…). The current image is sexier, more intelligent, and therefore more acceptable as a norm. OK, it’s not yet at the point where it is seen as a day to day thing you can tell your gran about, but it definitely has a better image.

Long time no see

I guess it is the purpose of a Mistress to make sure you are on your toes and remind you when you haven’t updated your blog in, like, a very long time…

So, after a tweet by Mistress advertising this blog earlier, I have decided that I probably need to be updating this place more often. It’s got a bit neglected in here – there are cobwebs all over the dressing mirror and mice have eaten all the lipstick. So time to get my Maid outfit back on and attack the place with a feather duster and maybe try to restock the make up drawer. Then I have to check I don’t need to do any penance for my neglect.

One reason I have been neglectful has been due to full-time work taking up more and more of my life and also my vanilla projects taking up time. I’ve been writing more and working more on my photography (hopefully some images to be posted here soon!) The Pandemic didn’t help either as, for me, it limited the time available to be kinky. Which in a way meant I was less inclined to come in here and update regularly.
